About Project TeCLA

TeCLA- Tele-education for clinicians and leaders in Africa. TeCLA is a collaborative effort to steer capacity building in Africa. Farmalert in collaboration with Making more Health (Boehringer Ingelheim & ASHOKA), ECHO, the Veterinary Council of Nigeria our lead partner, mDoc, leveraging the ECHO model to improve access to quality health care for complex animal health conditions through virtual education and training for VETERINARIANS, VETERINARY STUDENTS, LIVESTOCK FARMERS and PET OWNERS.

We have so far engaged 1447 participants from 25 different countries across 4 continents. A sizeable portion of our participants were female (34.4%) demonstrating a strong gender representation, and capacity building platform for Women empowerment.
